If you’re a small business looking for ways to increase productivity and get the most out of your advertising spend, a 24-hour recorded information line can be a great place to start. Often overlooked in today’s online world, a recorded message hotline is a versatile yet low-cost marketing tool and a great way of increasing conversion rates whilst freeing up time to focus on other activities.
Due to popular demand from our growing customer base we are delighted to announce the addition of call bundles to our service.
The bundles have been created to help keep your business costs down. You will receive 1000 UK landline minutes for £5.00 excluding vat. The minutes will cover calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers. Calls to other numbers will be charged at the standard rate*. This means greater cost savings for calls to landlines compared to just using call credit (equivalent to just 0.5p per minute + VAT).
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Internet Telephony Service Providers’ Association (ITSPA) Quality Mark, having demonstrated a clear customer service specification and meeting the following ITSPA criteria:
- Compliance with all ITSPA approved Best Common Practice Documents, including Number Porting and IP-PBX Security.
- Provide access to the emergency services and make customers fully aware that this service is available.
- Provide access to a recognised dispute resolution scheme and make customers fully aware of its existence.
- Provide a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to improve communication with other operators as well as other organisations (e.g. Home Office).
As part of our feature spotlight series, this week I’d like to talk about the ability to really work from anywhere, seamlessly.
Unlike other solutions, our call forwarding feature allows users to truly integrate their mobile phone with their virtual telephone system, enabling them to perform things such as attended or blind transfers, in addition to on-demand call recording and more.
We are very pleased to announce the ‘beta’ launch of our new ‘mobile edition’ management portal!
Designed to allow our virtual phone system users to manage their extension features from any compatible smartphone, we believe this is yet another step towards ultimate flexibility and control for small business owners. It enables users to manage their call forwarding rules, check their voicemail and change other settings whilst out of the office or on the move.
One of the most common questions we get asked is “What is the difference between your service and Skype?”
Well there are in fact a lot of differences between the service we offer and the
one Skype offers. Our service has been designed to help businesses improve their professional image and give them complete control over the way they communicate. Skype focuses on consumers having simple social conversations with their friends and family.
My recent post, “How virtual phone systems help start-up success” was kindly mentioned today on Twitter by a frequent follower of ours, @GemLThompson. This led to an interesting comment from another user which read:
always worth making sure the SIP company will cover loses incurred by PBX hacking.. happens frequently with SIP
The key to success for any new business lies mainly in their ability keep overheads to a minimum, whilst remaining flexible and projecting as professional an image as possible. A new business owner will wear many hats and will often need to travel around frequently promoting their business and generating sales.
First impressions go a long way when it comes to business relationships, therefore many entrepreneurs will strive to adopt the image of a much more established business from day one. Possibly one of the most important things for any start-up to get right is how they handle their calls.
